So Mrs. Leicester has been thinking we need an adventure van for camping/climbing etc.
This is what I suggested. She approves but threatened to paint a sunflower on the side.

Just pipe dreaming. But we have or have had station wagons and pickups with canopies. Thinking about a bit more space and flexibility (gear storage, cooks pace, hang out in the rain).

Although seriously check out some of the builds on the expedition portal forum . You might get some good low buck ideas on how to make use of a wagon or suv platform to fit your goals.
